La Sagesse Beach, Grenada
La Sagesse Beach is like an escape from reality. La Sagesse Beach is a 5-minute stroll from the main road in Saint David, on Grenada’s southeast coast, the quiet, secluded environment is ideal for vacationers. When you’ve had your fill of sun and sand, visit the La Sagesse Nature Centre, with its tropical gardens and calming presence, which enhances the sense of escape experienced at this out-of-the-way beach in the Parish of St. David.
Grand Anse Beach, Grenada
Six miles south of Saint George’s on Grenada’s southwest coast. The two miles of gleaming white sand make up Grenada’s most popular beach and one of the most naturally beautiful of the Caribbean’s many developed coastlines. Grand Anse is populated with low-slung hotels and beach bars, the water here remains a shade of blue in the shallows, ideal for a leisurely swim. Many of the establishments along the beach rent chairs and umbrellas to nonguests, but you won’t need a thing to enjoy the sunsets—or the rainbows that often arch across the green hills that cradle Saint George’s to the north.
Morne Rouge Beach, Grenada
With its usually quiet, shallow waters and white sand, this popular beach is sheltered by Quarantine Point. Morne Rouge Beach, also known as BBC Beach used to be one of the most popular beaches with locals, especially on public holidays. Today it’s still very well know and always gets the thumbs up, but it plays second fiddle to Bathway Beach, on Grenada holidays. It is a perfect spot to relax in silence or with the laughter of family and friends.
